There is a water main break on Clay Street in the area between 8th and 9th Streets. Please avoid travel to that area unless absolutely critical. HSWA has been notified and is en route to repair the break. Residents and businesses served by that line will be without water until the repair is complete, which should be by this evening.
Once the repair is made, the line is disinfected and flushed to ensure that the water is safe to drink. Should you experience discolored water, please run your water until it runs clear.
