The Sharpsburg Police Department is located at the Borough building at 1611 Main Street. Four full-time and four part-time Sharpsburg Police officers proudly serve and protect the community. Leo J. Rudzki, Jr. is the current Police Chief in Sharpsburg.

Information about 911 and You! 911 is only to be used in emergency situations. An emergency is any situation that requires immediate assistance for poilce, fire, or EMS response. If you are not sure of whether a situation is an emergency or not, be safe and dial 9-1-1 and let the call taker determine if you need emergency assistance. You call will be handled whether it is an emergency or not. Examples of when to call 9-1-1:

With everyone's cooperation, we can make the system work for a safer community! __________________________________________________________________________________ Sharpsburg Neighborhood Crime Watch The Neighborhood Crime Watch is taking back the Sharpsburg community! Join the monthly Crime Watch meeting on the last thursday of every month at the Sharpsburg Borough Building in Council Chambers. The 2010 Meeting Dates are as follows: February 25, March 25 and April 29 . Dates may change due to the holidays. All meetings will take place at 7:30pm in the evening.
